Bringing Stranger Things to Life: An Evening with Aaron Sims Creative (Livestream)

Visual effects studio behind Stranger Things speak at a conference

On Thursday, September 8, at 7:30 PM (PDT), Aaron Sims Creative will appear at Gnomon school of Visual Effect, Games and Animation, for an event that will "examine the creative vision and approach from key members that helped bring the world of Stranger Things to life."

The event will be streamed live on Livestream, and viewers are invited to ask the team questions through Twitter, using the hashtag #gnomon.

ASC designed the concept art for the monster and The Upside Down in Stranger Things, as well as providing visual effects. According to the description, "ASC's team of artists will provide in-depth access to their collaborative workflow, from concept art and creature design, through modeling, texturing, lighting, and rigging, to final VFX editing."

Speakers at the event will be Aaron Sims (Founder/Concept Artist), Steffen Reichstadt (Creative Director), Michael Pecchia (Executive Producer), Adam Nixon (Animator/Rigger), Daniel Edery (3D Artist/Concept Designer), Katerina Berezhnova (VFX Editor), Eevee Saucedo (Animator) and Erik Keefer (Animator).
